Spurlock's Malt Shop in Anna

The main draw to my mind is the old fashioned malt, however I could not taste the malt in my Chocolate. The meat on my Bacon Cheeseburger was almost burnt crisp. The mayo and mustard were light and they dress burgers with lettuce, tomato, and/or onion only. The fries were crispy crunchy and come in only one size which we split three ways.

I enjoy their shakes and malts. After watching an employee handle raw bacon, then reach into a bag of fries (without washing their hands), I'm not sure I would eat the cooked food.

I can't decide what I liked better, the Cheeseburger, the Onion Rings or the Chocolate Shake. All of it was, AMAZING!!!Definitely worth the drive from Garland. Looking forward to enjoying this little Retro Gem soon!!!!

I've been living out here for a little over a year and I finally tried spurlock's and I must say everything that we have tried so far has not disappointed. Now I know why this is a hot spot

Double Cheeseburger, Onion Rings & Coke is the ultimate lunch to go. Friendly, prompt service and good prices. Best spot in Anna.

They have great food, my family loves eating the at least once a week. They have the best BLT, I have ever had. The fried oreos are amazing too. They just added a cheese superdog and it tastes so good. Only thing that needs improvement is the parking areas, they are horrible. They need to add more gravel and fill in the holes.

Amazing spot that gives you a small town feeling and a big time meal. 50s vibe drive up with classic American food. Fried pickles were well coated. Double hamburger surrounded by 2 grilled cheese and bacon sandwiches? Check! Heck they even have fried Oreos for desert. So much I haven't said but it's a must go!

The food was good french Fry's was outstanding the burger was good but it's the second time that my buns on the burger was cold they get too busy and Rush the food out

Classic drive up malt shop with good burgers & fries and excellent malts. Old school place worth the wait. Very reasonable prices. Kids meal served in a cool classic chevy with flames box.

If you find yourself in Anna, you need to stop here no doubt. This place is one of our favorite places to go for that "old-time" hamburger shops. Cheeseburgers and shakes are incredible and they have these things called funnel cake fries that are to die for! Back to the malts/shakes, they are old fashioned made with real ice cream and are out of this world!! Worth the drive from Allen.

This place is very cute. They have good burgers and delicious fried Oreos. You feel like you've stepped into a time machine, they play nonstop 50's music. I highly recommend.

Nice clean spacious bathroom, would be great with a pile of little kids.Ordered a malt a burger and a wrap. All made fresh, so they take a little bit. Worth the wait. The wrap and burger are huge. Malt tasted malty as well.

Pretty good food and shakes. If the owners aren't there, service drops off dramatically.

This is such a great little place. The food is always good, the experience is fun. My son loves the kids meals and how the come served in a car. Great spot to try for sure!

Whataburger watch out! This town has the best burger hidden in central Anna. Don't be distracted by the highway convenience. Skip over the sonic and on your way to the drive-In. Its super affordable and there's land next to it to build. Someone please open a one screen drive in movie theater or some type of attraction to bring more business to this restaurant.

Great food, drive in old school environment. They do have a small house to eat in. Good family eating. For those who have a BIG appetite...must try their Gizmo Sandwich! Also Shakes, malts, fried pickles just name a few. Friendly business.

Oh so many memories flooded my heart. Had an Old fashioned root beer float. Oh!! So good!

First time we are trying Spurlocks. We order burger malt steak sandwich and deluxe nachos. Everything was good except the nachos. The beef had a good taste just that there was grease all over the bottom. Worst nachos I've run into with all the grease. I hope they find a way not to make it so grease because it's bad for you.

We love Spurlocks malt shop. If you have kids, make sure you get them a kids meal! They come in a container that looks like a classic car. My kids love these!

This little place is a gem. They sell what I would consider "carnival food". Burgers, chili cheese tots and fries, funnel cake fries, etc. It has a 50s diner vibe to it and the food is pretty good! We are here once a week to get our fix of shakes, funnel cake fries and sweet potato fries.

I frequent this special restaurant from time to time since I enjoy the special atmosphere that is part of this place. The team is awfuly loyal and qualified. The service is very efficient. Most important, the food they serve is highly distinguished. I visited often and I was always satisfied. The payment is reasobable. I recommend this restaurant to to all.

I'm not sure what the speed limit is in front of Spurlock's Malt Shop. but if you blink you’ll miss the place. I was hoping my burger wouldn't be very good. Because making that long drive back to Spurlock's Malt Shop was a long ways off my normal path. But seeing the word "Malt Shop" I was intrigued with the prospect of getting One amazing malt so my wife and I made a u-turn and made our way back to this roadside Oasis. if you're into all things fried you’ll love Spurlock's Malt Shop. I did and now I have to make that long drive back.Thanks guy's.

Great small town burger joint w great shakes, onion rings, chili dogs and ice cream. The place is legendary.

Tasty quality food. I don't give a place 5 stars often. They have to have something really good about them to get it. This place is a diner and a drive-in. Take your pick. The diner is a warm small section next door. The interior looks like it jumped out of a 50s dream. They play music from the jive era too, while you enjoy your delicious meal. Definitely coming back !PS, the kids meals come in a cute car shaped box. 🚗

I had their double double burger with fries and it was delicious. It definitely hits the spot if you're looking for a plain ol' tasty burger. I didn't try their dessert but I will definitely be going back to do so. Eating there is a very fun, nostalgic experience.

I love the Childrens meals. They completely satisfy your hamburger craving...everything is fresh, the staff is so helpful..permanent customer. Glad they are in Anna.

Family owned and operated. Food is always fresh and the prices are great. Seating is available in the building next door, but you can opt to eat in your car as well.

Amazing food and ambiance.

This place is amazing. Great food and very nice people. Funnel cake fries are a must! The house sauce is really the best way to go. I’m working my way up to the Super Gizmo, it’s important to have goals.

We ordered burgers,fries, mozzarella sticks. All were tasty. Everything was fresh. We will be back
